Cup of tea?

There's nothing quite so refreshing than a cup of tea even on a hot day but that can be a problem on an allotment.

A small camping stove and kettle, mug and some tea bags are easy to sort but there's nothing worse than pouring in the milk and seeing those bits floating that means its turned.

What you need is a fridge in the shed but without electricity that's not so simple..

or is it?

Take a large plastic pot saucer and add about half an inch of water, then set a large unglazed clay pot upside down in the water

The pot sucks up the water that evaporates in the heat and the evaporation cools the inside of the pot.

Maybe not a Fridgidaire but it will keep your milk drinkable or even (should I say it) a can of lager cool.
